INTERNATIONAL Trinidad & Tobago: Local government minister promises jobs investment

Minister of local government Suruj Rambachan has pledged to create more than 6,000 new jobs over two months in a number of works and development projects when the new budget is passed later this month.

This is according to the Trinidad Express newspaper, which reports Rambachan as saying over 600 contractors will begin in the next couple of months, compared with 336 in the last few months.
