Sci-fi thriller All You Need Is Kill starring Tom Cruise will be filmed at Warner Brothers’ studio at Leavesden in Hertfordshire, creating 500 jobs.

Many of these will be in digital and special effects, announced Chancellor George Osborne in a speech to last Friday’s [3 August] ICT industry trade event in London.

This will be the first movie filmed at the Leavesden studio, built as a result of a £100m investment by Warner Brothers.

Osborne adds: “This is a great example of how our tax policies are creating the right environment for investment and innovation.”
