West-Central India’s Maharashtra State has started a process to recruit 8,948 drivers, 6,247 conductors, 2,658 ‘helpers’ and 1,936 office clerks, writes the Times of India.

West-Central India’s Maharashtra State has started a process to recruit 8,948 drivers, 6,247 conductors, 2,658 ‘helpers’ and 1,936 office clerks, writes the Times of India.
The state’s Road Transport Corporation currently has as many as 37,000 drivers across the state.The paper writes that after a driver at the corporation killed nine people, allegedly due to work-related stress in January, counsellors would be appointed to conduct stress management sessions with staff.
