Just one in 20 new IT jobs are public sector, says ReThink

Just 5% of new IT jobs in the UK are in the public sector, down from approximately 30% before the last general election in 2010.

This is according to research from business and technology staffing firm ReThink Recruitment, which analysed over 3,500 jobs in May and June of this year.
Previously, the same company found that the IT jobs market is more London-centric than pre-crisis, as reported on recruiter.co.uk.
