Demand for temporary workers in the US should increased 9.6% for Q3 2012 compared to the same quarter in the previous year, finds staffing industry consulting firm G Palmer and Associates.

Demand for temporary workers in the US should increased 9.6% for Q3 2012 compared to the same quarter in the previous year, finds staffing industry consulting firm G Palmer and Associates.

For Q2, the firm’s Palmer forecast had forecasted an 8.2% increase in demand, but this actually transpired as a 9.5% increase, with temp jobs creating 31% of all new jobs reported, despite representing only 2% of the total labour market.This Q3 predicted rise would be the 11th consecutive quarter of year-on-year increases.
