INTERNATIONAL US: Retailer Academy Sports + Outdoors adding 250 Georgia jobs

Texan retailer Academy Sports + Outdoors is expanding its Jeffersonville, Georgia distribution centre, adding 250 new jobs.

It already employs 625 people in the facility, which is expanding in actual physical size by nearly 50%.
The facility also, since last year, serves as a fulfilment centre for Academy’s online retail business.

The expansion’s construction work should be completed by next summer.
