People 1st, the sector skills council for hospitality, passenger transport, travel and tourism, has appointed of Neil Fletcher and Suzy Jackson to newly created executive roles within the organisation.
 
Fletcher, the former head of European training for auto maker Honda, becomes client relationship and business development director.

He will be working with the sector “to continue to promote the importance of quality training and professionalising the workforce”, according to a People 1st statement.
 
Jackson has been appointed to the role of executive director of the Hospitality Guild, an organisation within People 1st which operates to improve training programmes within the hospitality sector.
