PwC provides ‘real alternative’ to university

Professional services firm PwC’s head of people Gaenor Bagley says the firm’s new apprenticeship scheme in its tax practice should provide “a real alternative for talented students who want to get into business straight from school or college”.
The firm is to offer 60 apprenticeships from July in its tax practice, under the new professional services Higher Apprenticeship framework.
Bagley says: “Over the last 10 years we have recruited over 500 school and college leavers across the firm.
“By implementing this new framework, it’s a great opportunity for us to make the training and development opportunities for school leavers even better.”
