Proposed relaxation of regulations around when someone qualifies as a UK resident for tax purposes have been broadly welcomed.

Under the new regulations, released for consultation yesterday (21 June) for consultation by HM Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs, individuals would be classified as resident after 25 days of working in the UK...
