Fri, 29 Jun 2012
After two months of decline, managerial recruitment activity rose in June, according to the new CareerCast.com/JobSerf Employment Index.
Manager and director level hiring saw the most significant increases, both rising about twice as fast as C-Level and vice president-level roles.
Four of the five cities with the greatest increase in hiring this month were in the East: Boston (+16%), Philadelphia (+11%), New York City (+10%) and Pittsburgh (+10%). Memphis was the only other city to show a double-digit increase in June (+10%).
Washington, DC and Boston remained clear top and second-placed cities in the index.
