Technology and business services firm Connextions is to create 550 new jobs in Centennial, Colorado when it opens a new solutions centre next month.

Technology and business services firm Connextions is to create 550 new jobs in Centennial, Colorado when it opens a new solutions centre next month.
Connextions is part of UnitedHealth Group’s Optum health services business, which already has nearly 600 employees in Colorado.The roles will be for licensed and non-licensed insurance agents, earning an average salary of $30k-$40k (£19k-£25k), with free College of Insurance training provided for eligible recruits.
Elsewhere in Colorado, Connextions itself has had a facility outside of Boulder for the past decade, and has invested $4m in the new 45,000 sq ft Centennial premises.
Colorado governor John Hickenlooper says that the decision “is recognition of Colorado's business-friendly environment”.
