FINANCIALS: Steria profit rises

Steria Recruitment achieved profit after taxation of £2.54m in 2011, up from £1.79m in 2010.
The company provides contract and permanent recruitment services to IT, finance and business operations and provides interim and permanent executives.
According to the report with the company’s accounts, it secured business with eight new external clients and increased the number of external contractors assigned by 31% compared to the previous year.
The company’s turnover rose from £86.09m in the previous year to £89.2m.
