Business Environment finds low knowledge of supplier, client and employer policies

Less than a quarter (23%) of UK office workers are aware of their employer’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy, and only just over half (53%) had knowledge of their HR policy.
This is according to a poll of 1,000 UK office workers undertaken by serviced office provider Business Environment.
It also finds that only 43% of workers knew their company’s structure, and just 27% were aware of its service guidelines.
David Saul, managing director of Business Environment, says: “We consider low knowledge of service guidelines as a particular worry – in our view these are absolutely essential to business.
“Without a clear code of how suppliers and clients are treated, it is more difficult to ensure consistent standards, and customer retention could suffer as a result.”
