Dealing directly with recruitment consultants improves their perception among members of the public, according to a new survey by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).

While just 51% of members of the public polled felt recruiters project a professional image, this increased to 72% among people who have used the services of a recruitment agency.

Almost three quarters (72%) of those who had used a recruitment agency in the past said they would use a recruiter again.
