Multi-sector recruiter Huntress Group has announced operating profit for 2011 of £2.5m, a 67% rise on the previous year, while gross profit rose 5% to £20.3m.

The company undertook a business reorganisation in 2011, and will be going live with new IT and CRM (customer relationship management) systems during 2012.

It also opened a Munich office earlier this year.

Chief executive John Pullan describes 2011 as a “transformational” year for the business, “with a greater strategic focus internationally”, adding: “we look forward to some exciting years ahead”.
