INTERNATIONAL: Workers in Americas most likely to make own employment decisions

Mon, 23 Apr 2012
Over three-quarters (77%) of workers in the Americas make personal job choices autonomously – a larger proportion than in other regions.

This is according to the latest Kelly Global Workforce Index from Kelly Services, which surveyed 170,000 people across the globe.
The self-determination of workers in the Americas compares with 68% of workers in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, and 63% in Asia-Pacific (APAC).

Across each region, recruiters were seen as the most influential source by 2% of workers.
