INTERNATIONAL: UK workers the most unsettled by economy globally

Tue, 24 April 2012
Over three in five (62%) of UK workers are considering switching their career due to national and global economic troubles, according to a poll from global jobsite Monster.

The poll also questioned workers from the Canada, France, India, Mexico, the UK and the US.
Globally, 55% of workers are looking at new jobs, with 30% more hesitant, saying they will only switch if they could find a better career and 15% reporting their career unaffected by economic troubles.

The UK is the only region where fewer than 10% of respondents found their career unaffected by economic concerns, and also the only country where more than 57% of workers were trying to switch their career.
