Energy, consumer and medical industry recruiter BW Penman has opened a Asia Pacific base in Sydney, from where it will trade in the region under the name BW Penman PTY.

Energy, consumer and medical industry recruiter BW Penman has opened a Asia Pacific base in Sydney, from where it will trade in the region under the name BW Penman PTY.

The firm’s global head of energy Chris Mills has relocated to Sydney, where he will work with newly-promoted regional director Ben Brown, who takes charge of the consumer and medical divisions.BW Penman had been operating internationally before the new office opening, which “is set to be the first in a number of new office openings around the globe in 2012”.

Managing director Andy Preston says that overcoming the difficulties posed by time difference is one of the advantages of the new location.

BW Penman was founded in 2010 on the merging of BWB and Penman Executive.
