Recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) firm elemense has acquired business services firm Xchanging Resourcing Services (XRS), a subsidiary of Xchanging HR Services.

All of the Xchanging network of companies will now use elemense exclusively for contract labour over the next two years.

The deal means that elemense parent company Matchtech Group takes on preferred supplier agreements with current Xchanging clients in the UK and Scandinavia, primarily in the insurance and re-insurance sectors.

Peter Collis, managing director of elemense, says: “This is a strategic acquisition for the company, complementary with our plans to grow our business. It creates a robust nationwide offering within the information systems and technology sector, enhancing the range of services we provide.”
