Most candidates are overqualified

Candidates have lowered their salary expectations and are increasingly prepared to change career, according to new statistics.

Research from interview advice website Interviewgold.com showed that85% were prepared to apply for a job for which they were over qualified just to gain employment.

A further 44%would consider taking a drop in salary to land a job and 28% were prepared to change career altogether.
