Matchstick places young people for Prince’s Trust
London-based secretarial specialist Matchstick Recruitment has joined forces with the charity to help people in its work experience programmes find paid employment once the programmes are complete.
Melanie Whitehall, managing director of Matchstick Recruitment, told Recruiter: “We’ve done some of the Trust’s internal recruitment in the past and it sprang from that. It’s just a new way of marketing ourselves.”
The agency will place candidates at cost price, charging only a £1 payroll fee per hour that the candidate works while on temporary
assignments. For permanent placements, no fee will be charged.
The Trust works to help people from disadvantaged backgrounds, placing them in month-long work experience placements via its Get Into programme.
