Manufacturing reaches 25-month high

The UK manufacturing sector continued to recover in December, according to the latest CIPS/Markit index.

The headline seasonally adjusted CIPS/Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI⁾ posted a 25-month high of 54.1 in December, up from 51.8 in November.
