LBA sells three firms in a week

Bissell: selling in a recession
Recruitment business sales consultancy LBA may well be asking itself “Recession — what recession?” after selling three businesses in less than a week.
The three businesses involved were a multilingual agency in London, an executive recruitment business in Yorkshire and a multibranch general staffing business in East Anglia.
“Even at the peak of the market it was unusual to sell more than one or two businesses a month,” John Bissell, senior partner at LBA, told Recruiter. “This shows that it is possible not only to sell businesses in this recession, but that all types of businesses throughout the UK can be sold.”
