Jenrick's input in polar project

Jenrick CPI is putting recruitment on ice. The multi-sector recruiter is sponsoring the Catlin Arctic Survey’s polar expedition and helping out with industry expertise. The project is led by UK explorer Pen Hadow and aims to monitor the ice shelves of the North Pole.
Philip Fanthom, sales director at Jenrick CPI, told Recruiter: “Any time they were looking for individuals we were quite happy to help in any way we could,” he said, adding Jenrick CPI was on-hand to help pack for the expedition and man the phones.
The team of Ann Daniels — field operations, Martin Hartley — film-maker and Pen Hadow — director and head of surveying (above), left on 11 February from Northern Canada for the 100-day survey, which will include temperatures -50 deg centigrade and the use of emersion suits in the water.
“It’s a hell of a feat of human endeavour, as well as scientific exploration,” said Fanthom.
