James Caan invests in webrecruit

James Caan, from the BBC programme Dragons’ Den, and founder and former chief executive of the Alexander Mann Group, has invested in  online recruitment firm webrecruit.
 

James Caan, from the BBC programme Dragons’ Den, and founder and former chief executive of the Alexander Mann Group, has invested in  online recruitment firm webrecruit.
 
Caan has also taken the role of chairman of webrecruit after a speculative approach from the company’s directors resulted in his investing an undisclosed sum in the company.
 
Based in Exeter but operating nationwide, assists businesses recruit staff for a flat fee.
 
Managing director of webrecruit, Phil Roebuck, says: “At webrecruit we’d singled out James as the ideal person to help take our business to the next stage of growth; he’s ‘Mr Recruitment’ as well as one of the country’s best-known business people.
