Jaguar Land Rover seeks apprenticeships
Automotive firm Jaguar Land Rover is looking for more than 40 Advanced Apprenticeships of over 16-year-olds wanting a career within the automotive industry.
Apprentices will undergo a 36-48 month programme, with an initial period at college where they would earn an NVQ2 in performing engineering operations, an NVQ3 in the chosen trade pathway and a technical certificate, as well as developing wider key skills.
Following the initial training period, apprentices will begin work at Castle Bromwich, Gaydon, Halewood, Solihull or Whitley, continuing studies on a day-to-day basis, with the opportunity to complete a City & Guilds, HNC or foundation degree, depending on business needs.
Applications will be taken until 5 May 2009.

Apprenticeships are good as you train them to adjust as you like, unlike people with degrees. I have a degree myself but wish that i took an apprenticeship
