International news - Australia
The Australian economy and recruitment market has shown exceptional signs of recovery over the last four months and in turn for JPA, as a rec-to-rec with an office in Sydney the demand from our clients within Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth is far outstripping the number of domestic-based recruiters available.

We are currently experiencing an overwhelming demand for experienced recruiters across most sectors, the most sought after being IT, finance and accounting, oil & gas, sales & marketing, rail, construction, engineering and healthcare.
The demand is such that many clients are happy to complete the interview process via telephone and video conference while candidates are still based in the UK should they wish to secure a role before arrival. Contrary to rumours business sponsorship is not an issue to most recruitment businesses and visa’s are currently being granted within just a 8-10 week period. All you need to be eligible to get a business visa in Australia is one year’s recruitment experience with a degree and five years’ recruitment experience without the degree.
