Hamill launches Andersen Partnership
Former chief operating officer of FiveTen Asia Pacific, Niall Hamill, today announced the acquisition of Stirling Andersen, a leading insurance recruiter based in Sydney.
The brand is the first to join the newly created Andersen Partnership, as mentioned in recruiter.co.uk (17 September), which will specialise in the insurance, banking, accounting and technology sectors.
Stirling Andersen was established by experienced recruitment manager Beth Osmont in July 2009 and currently employs eight staff specialising in the insurance sector.
Commenting on the acquisition, Hamill said that “in a relatively short period of time Stirling Andersen had grown quickly, hired some great consultants, was highly profitable and had created a terrific brand and reputation in the insurance marketplace”.
Hamill confirmed that he would be rolling out the brand into offices in Melbourne in March, Singapore in July and October in Hong Kong in 2010.
“We anticipate hiring in excess of 50 fee earners next year,” he said, and confirmed that a new accounting brand for the Andersen Partnership would be announced in the next fortnight.
