Graduates sign up for virtual fair

GradsEast, a not-for-profit service operated by the university careers service for East of England, is staging its second annual online recruitment fair. At the time of writing, more than 500 graduates had already pre-registered for the event, which runs from 8-19 June.

Marketing manager Elizabeth McDonald said the event had attracted employers and recruiters across the eastern counties.

“Organisations were more open to using the online environment this time round,” she said. Exhibitors can create a virtual stand, advertise vacancies and display company profiles.
