Good to see the other side of recruiting
I think it’s terrific to see you featuring in-house recruiters alongside external providers.
It’s good to see BSkyB (Recruiter, 18 February, pp24-26) taking such a proactive approach to developing their brand profile within the
recruitment space.
I, for one, would like to see more collaboration between external and internal recruiters. We are all aiming for the same outcomes: the best talent in the best organisations to create value across the piece.
It’s too easy for the two groups to become polarised — in essence we all do the same job too, with a few variations. It would be good for both
these strands of recruitment to talk more to each other so they can understand each other better. Surely this can only enhance the industry as
a whole?
