Global search firm Boyden chosen by Chile
International executive search firm Boyden has been selected as a premier provider of search services for Chile’s System for High Level Director Civil Service, which reports to President Michelle Bachelet.
Boyden Chile is one of several firms selected for three-year terms beginning this month, according to newswire Reuters. High Level Civil Service includes undersecretaries, heads of government companies and key government organisations such as healthcare and hospitals. Ministers are selected by the president.
Boyden, like all other service providers, will be evaluated after every three searches. Service providers will be ranked, and those who perform will receive additional assignments.
“Boyden’s appointment by Chile’s Civil Service Director is a great honour,” says John Byrne, managing director of Boyden Chile.
“The competitive process to select search firms and then our work to place the most qualified candidates is the best system to ensure excellence.”
