Freelancers: PCG appoints Iain McIlwee as new head of commercial development
The Professional Contractors Group (PCG) has appointed Iain McIlwee as its new head of commercial development.
Former regional director for London at the Federation of Master Builders and business services manager at the British Plastics Federation, McIlwee will take responsibility for the commercial expansion of the organisation, developing commercial relationships with agencies and clients to ensure best practice in their dealings with freelancers as well as devising strategies to drive up membership figures.
Commenting on the appointment, John Brazier, managing director at PCG, says: “I am delighted to welcome Iain to the PCG and am confident that his proven commercial services experience will help take our organisation forward in the best interests of our members. He has the important task of ensuring that our members are served well, by the PCG, by agencies and by corporate clients who take on freelancers.”
