Global executive search firm Boyden has announced the election of its new board.

Trina Gordon was re-elected to a second two-year term as chairman. Jim Hertlein, managing director Houston and a member of the firm’s global industrial practice, and Erkki Panula, senior partner of Boyden Helsinki and member of the firm’s global technology practice, were elected as directors.

In addition, Dr Gerhard Raisig, managing partner of Boyden Bad Homburg, and Robert Travis, managing director of Boyden Calgary and Atlanta, were both re-elected to new two-year terms as board members.

Executive search firm TRANSEARCH International has launched a new office in Dubai, UAE, to cover the entire Middle East region.

Founding partners Findlay Donnan and Justin Schnoor are joined by a team of regionally experienced professionals located within the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Donnan has been in the management consulting and executive search business for more than 14 years, with over a decade of experience living and working in the Middle East.

Schnoor has been in the executive search business since 2001 when, following a move to London, he successfully built an ERP and insurance practice for a leading executive search firms in the City.
