Excel Technical Consulting battles bad debt

Engineering recruiter Excel Technical Consulting has escaped bad debt running into “six figure” sums after its two biggest clients went into insolvency.

Alex Hannam, director at Excel Technical Consulting, told Recruiter the company decIsion to take out debt protection had saved the business: “It’s absolutely essential to have debt protection in this market. It’s about peace of mind being hit with a bad debt could be devastating.”

The company used Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance to safeguard itself against bad debts, both domestically and on exports.
