Eades moves to Kellan Group

Ross Eades
Ross Eades, chief executive officer of the InterQuest Group, is leaving that job with immediate effect to join the Kellan Group, according to a statement from the InterQuest Group. He will not be replaced at InterQuest.
The Kellan Group includes hospitality recruiter Berkeley Scott, RK Accountancy, RK Search, RK Supply Chain, Quantica Search & Selection, Quantica Technology and Robinson Keane. Former Kellan Group CEO John Rose recently left to take on a similar role at the Five-Ten Group.
In its most recent annual report, Kellan Group reported a loss of £4.46m after tax for the 12 months ending 31 December 2008.
A spokesperson for Kellan Group could not immediately confirm either Eades’ appointment or the nature of his reported new job.
InterQuest chairman Gary Ashworth said in a prepared statement, “Ross has done a fantastic job for us over the past five years, and he goes to Kellan Group with our thanks and our very best wishes. I’m delighted that he’ll be staying with InterQuest as a non-executive director.”
Ashworth went on to say that Eades would not be replaced because “we have a huge amount of talent in the leaders of our various businesses which can now be further released to the benefit of the group. The group remains focused on achieving premium results in the current challenging trading conditions whilst continually seeking to develop new business opportunities.”
Ashworth promised “some exciting news” soon to that end.
