Don't let bad apples spoil the recruitment barrel
I agree whole-heartedly with Lord Young’s comments in your article ’Driving recruiters hit with 10-year ban following EAS investigation’ (recruiter.co.uk, 18 February). Our industry is worth up to £28bn in the UK and, largely, is run by professional outfits who work closely with their clients as true business partners helping to give them a competitive by delivering a skilled flexibile workforce. But it only takes one ’bad apple’ to ruin our reputation.
At First Choice Recruitment in Wakefield and Leeds we have enjoyed 17 years of these relationships and hope to do so for at least another 17, based upon ensuring no corners are ever cut. We can’t afford to compromise with our quality procedures - we simply cannot let our clients down in anyway. They expect and deserve the best possible support from their recruitment agency.
