Desmond Doyle leaves Impellam
Desmond Doyle has stepped down as group chief executive at multi-sector recruiter and managed services provider Impellam Group.
The move follows a strategic review which concluded that Impellam’s business objectives could be “achieved with a flatter and more streamlined management organisation”.
Doyle, the former group finance director and chief operating officer of Impellam, will not be directly replaced, as the group CEO position has been made redundant.
Cheryl Jones, previously non-executive chairman, is now chairman of Impellam Group and will be charged with continuing the development of strategy and the realignment of the Impellam businesses in keeping with current market trends and opportunities.
Jones was previously chairman and CEO of business information provider OneSource.
