Kerr joins gap
Multi-sector recruiter gap personnel has acquiredspecialist office services and multi-lingual recruiter Kerr Recruitment for an undisclosed sum. Gap personnel has also secured £500k in funding from Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets.

Boyden’s Chile search
International executive search firm Boyden has been appointed a premier provider of search services for Chile’s System for High Level Director Civil Service, which reports to President Michelle Bachelet. Boyden Chile is one of several firms selected for three-year terms at the start of March, according to newswire Reuters.

Acorn grows
Recruiter and training company Acorn has won contracts worth more than £7.4m in the past quarter. The deals include a threeyear £3.5m deal to supply temporary staff to Teignbridge District, South Hams District and West Devon Borough councils, all in Devon.

Reuters picks careers site
Financial careers website eFinancialCareers has been chosen as the exclusive jobs provider for Reuters online Careers Centre on the Reuters.com network of consumer websites in the UK, Germany, Italy, France, the Middle East and Africa.

Joint RPO offerings
Spherion and hyphen, part of Spring Group, have agreed a strategic alliance to offer recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) on a global scale. The companies will jointly offer RPO solutions to clients’ across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
