It’s nice to see the Hire a Hero campaign starting to succeed in raising awareness about the benefits of recruiting ex-military personnel (recruiter.co.uk, ’Hire a Hero helps ex-soldiers into job’, 2 March).
I agree with the comment by Colonel Richard Kemp that effective CV writing is critical when communicating your skills, experiences and how you would bring value to an employer’s organisation.
I would be more than happy to forward a template and notes on effective CV writing to anybody that is unsure about how to market themselves.
