Robbie and Cheryl Cowling were among a number of recruiters to appear in The Sunday Times Rich List 2009.

Robbie Cowling, who set up internet recruitment service JobServe, is 510 in the list, together with his wife Cheryl, with a fortune of £105m.

Next up, at 594, is Ronnie Frost, former chairman and large shareholder in multi-sector recruiter Hays. Frost’s fortune is £92m.

Simon Arber, co-founder of IT recruiter SThree, Dragons’ Den personality and Hamilton Bradshaw chief executive James Caan and Alexander Badenoch, co-founder of Badenoch & Clark, are in joint 863rd place, with fortunes of £65m each.

The last recruiter to make the rich list is Bill Bottriell, who holds a £15.4m stake in SThree.
