Contracts: HCL Thames Medics agrees deal with St George’s Hospital

HCL Thames Medics, provider of doctors to the NHS on the National Framework, has won a contract to supply medical professionals of all grades and specialities to St George’s Hospital, Tooting, London on an ongoing basis.

The firm now has framework agreements in place with hospitals including Great Ormond Street, Guys and St Thomas, Bristol and Weston NHS Trust, and Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust.

Kirsten Simcoe, managing director of HCL Thames Medics, says: “Our share of the medical staffing market has grown exponentially over the past year to the point where we are now getting work requests from nearly every hospital in the UK.

“The UK has a severe shortage of doctors which is why our services are and will continue to be in great demand.”
