Comparison website launches
Freelancesupermarket.com, a freelancer comparison website, has launched. The website features real-time league tables of the best candidates and recruitment agencies in different parts of the country.
Freelancers and agencies can vet each other before getting in touch, and can then having worked together can give anonymous feedback.
Martin Smith, managing director of freelancesupermarket.com, says: “Our initial idea for freelancesupermarket.com came from our own experiences as contractors, recruiters and umbrella providers.
“We saw the need for a revolution in the way recruiters and contractors interact and so, after two years of building and testing, we’re launching the UK’s first peer-rated comparison website with an online community of freelance service providers, embracing the full potential of web 2.0.
“The early interest in freelancesupermarket.com has been phenomenal. For the first time, top performing freelance contractors can prove to their agents and clients that they really are best in class.”
