With headquarters in Diemen, Netherlands, Randstad is the  world’s second largest recruitment company after Adecco.

Founded in 1960, Randstad operates in 40 countries worldwide, offering temporary and contract staffing, professionals/search and selection, in-house or on-site services and managed services, amongst other human resources solution.

Randstad significantly exceeded its reach in 2007 with the announcement of its merger with specialist recruitment holding company Vedior, which had more than 100 brands and a strong presence in the UK, amongst other strategic locations worldwide.

In the UK, most of the individual specialist brands acquired through the merger with Vedior have been rebranded Randstad.
