Michael Page International has announced it is rebranding to PageGroup.

The group includes core brands Michael Page, Page Personnel and Page Executive. The rebranding is intended to reflect “growth, diversification and remit with a new corporate group name that represents our brands equally”, a statement from the company said.

For instance, in some countries, Page Personnel – known best for finance and secretarial business support recruitment – employs more people than the Michael Page brand. In the statement, PageGroup also said that the company, which has operated a number of executive search brands in 30 countries, has now rationalised how it operates in the executive search space by introducing Page Executive.

Despite the group rebrand, the statement said, PageGroup’s strategy remains the same. “Our strategy is unchanged and geared for the long term,” said chief executive Steve Ingham.

“We will continue our organic growth by region and discipline with an ongoing focus on growth markets. We will also continue to benefit from using our home-grown management expertise and a structure that champions profit share and promotion from within.”
