Commercial: Recruiters praise candidate quality

The commercial sector is experiencing a glut of quality candidates, according to recruiters.

Leah Clifford, consultant at Top Type Recruitment, told Recruiter: “The quality of the candidates coming through has been better than it has ever been.

“We have never seen anything like it. It is an employer’s market. It is phenomenal in terms of the quality of talent.”

Anne Liese, director at Alexander Hancock, adds: “It is not a great thing from the candidate perspective because they could have been made redundant.

“The quality is great. The employers are getting some fabulous candidates.”
