Brown to hold Jobs Summit on Monday
Gordon Brown is to hold a jobs summit on Monday.
Brown has invited the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) to attend the event.
Ahead of the event, Kevin Green, chief executive at the REC, says: “Recruitment agencies are in the front line of the labour market and industry is in a unique position to provide a practical perspective on what is needed to jump-start the UK jobs market. The Government will clearly be making some high profile announcements on Monday and we will ensure that the voice of the UK recruitment industry is at the forefront of the jobs debate over the coming year.”
