Bleasdale's drive to success

Drive, focus and singlemindedness are essential qualities for any recruiter wishing to become a successful entrepreneur, according to Kate Bleasdale, founder of Healthcare Locums.

Bleasdale told Recruiter: “You have to have very good focus in what you are going to do. You have to say to the troops behind you ‘I am
going off in this direction and when I turn around I hope you are following me’, and that’s the trick.

“To be a leader you have to have amazing communication in your organisation. Everyone, right down to the receptionist in HCL, knows what the strategy is.”
