BIS holding AWD consultation events

The Department of Business Innovation and Skills (formerly the Department for Enterprise and Regulatory Reform) is beginning a series of consulations over the Agency Workers Directive.

The legislation will give equal rights to agency workers after a 12-week qualifing period.

The closing date for responses to the Consultation Paper on implementation of the Agency Workers Directive, which was published on 8 May, is 31 July 2009.
