BAS: Antarctic recruitment drive
The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is launching a recruitment campaign today to attract carpenters, electricians, plant technicians, plumbers and chefs to work at its research stations.
The Sun, Farmers Weekly and Earth Moverwill be carrying adverts this week.
Flexible contracts run from four to 18 months, while starting salaries are £23,000 per annum. Accommodation, travel, clothing and food are also provided.
