ATA Selection supplies candidates for Airbus work
SPS Aerostructures has used technical recruiter ATA Selection to boost its CAD-CAM department for the Airbus A380 contract.
Peter Steffen, SPS Aerostructures engineering manager, says ATA’s Leicester-based branch was able to select the right staff after other recruitment channels had failed:
“Plenty of candidates may appear on paper to have experience of a particular software system used in CNC programming, but often it turns out they have used it just for design, not for manufacturing. The people they put forward were qualified to do the jobs we needed to fill,” he says.
